Veenai is a traditional music instrument of Indian community widely used for Carnatic Classical Musics. It has evolved from traditional music info fusion and modern music making it’s presence in variety of music genres. The Saraswati veena is the predominant Carnatic music and the Rudra veena the most played veena in Hindustani music. At A.M.A, besides teaching hoe to play this instrument, we encourage students to be able to compose their own music and perform the instrumental music by their own.
